OEB Protection

Occupational Exposure Band (OEB) - A preliminary or precise classification of novel active substances or intermediates for industrial hygiene purposes. OEB represents occupational exposure level, and level allocation is based on the toxicity and efficacy of the substance.

Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) - Develop scientifically reliable occupational exposure limits for new active substances, intermediates, or ordinary chemicals based on toxicity and activity, allowing employees to work in a safe and healthy working environment.

In the process of drug contact, we need to determine the OEL value of the processed drug (MSDS) corresponding to the recommendations in the OEB classification to determine the level of protection. Use the correct facilities.

The OEB4-5 product line should use fully enclosed equipment and facilities. Isolators and glove boxes should be used for enclosed operations involving occupational contact α-β Control measures such as valves and bags in and out;

For OEB3 level product lines, closed equipment and facilities should be used as much as possible when involving occupational exposure. Control measures such as laminar flow hoods, independent operating compartments with local ventilation devices (LEV), and fume hoods should be used in areas exposed to drug dust;

The OEB1-2 product line requires the installation of local ventilation facilities, such as effective local ventilation at exposed points.
